So, blog reader, I ask you….

What do you want to explore, learn, or experience? Something scary? An alternate universe? Time travel? True crime? A bygone or future era? War? Peace? Spirituality? Cooking? Ancient wisdom? Languages? Psychology? Personal growth? Mythology? Medicine? Plants? Animals? Humor?

The answer is simple, read all about it in a book! I guarantee that you can find a book about any topic imaginable.

Best of all, there are books of all types. Some books are short, some are long, some have pictures, some are scholarly, some are just for fun. In any case, no matter how long it has been since you may have read a book or done any research, you can find a reading experience that will be just right for you. By the way, librarians at the library and booksellers at bookstores are often avid readers and excellent at providing book recommendations.

Think about this: reading a book can connect you with the most creative, intelligent, and inspiring people, places, things, and the greatest minds of this world, 24/7. In my humble opinion books ‘call’ us, or come across our purview, eager to share their knowledge with a reader. Granted, the books are not actually ‘alive,’ but each book represents the lives and the experiences of their authors. I like to imagine books and their authors standing on a hilltop, their voices echoing through the valley, calling out ‘Read me! Read me!”

I myself am an avid reader. I love books and think they are super cool. I have books in every room in my house. There are books in my car, my purse, and the tote bags that I carry. I always have a book with me. I consider my book collection like a wine cellar full of fine wines. The books I have will be read at the right time, the right place, and the right mood. No book before its time and every book in its time!

So go ahead, read a book! Explore, learn, and enjoy the world to your heart’s content.

This is Melinda Grohol signing off. Good day!
